Campus Life

groupCampus Life is the living and learning that takes place outside of the classroom, and it’s a big part of your college experience. It includes service, leadership, friendships and that hard-to-define essence that makes college more than a collection of courses or buildings.

Those involved in a club or volunteer in the community can attest to the gratification they experience. The skills you will learn through co-curricular involvement and your classwork will help you develop your potential to get a job upon completion of your degree.

So join a club. Be a student government leader. Participate in events or join athletics.  Just hang out with other students at the Campus Life Office. And find the right fit for you!

“College Hour” at SCCC is every Thursday from 10:50 am – 12:05 pm. This is a block of time reserved primarily for student enrichment activities. Be sure to take advantage of the concerts, speakers, picnics, lectures, cultural celebrations and other fun events planned during College Hour each week. All campus happenings for the upcoming semester will be posted in the Office of Campus Life D105A, on the Cafeteria tables and in the Student Handbook.

Campus Life is located in the Student Center, D105.
